Worried about privacy with google?

This search engine is great!! I have been using it for a few months now and it does the searching I need it to. AND they have a 48 hour retention policy instead of the google, yahoo, etc. months to years policies. They have some of the similar features google has like the image and video search. Don't expect google apps though.
